Jaylen’s first Northern Talent Cup weekend took place at TT Circuit Assen. He started Race 1 from eighth after a penalty for another rider.
A good launch briefly put him in the lead. Later in the race he ran through the gravel at the GT corner, but recovered and crossed the line eighth.
Jaylen again reached the first corner in the lead in Race 2. He ran wide, lost momentum and then crashed at Strubben. A visit to the medical centre confirmed there were no major injuries, although his arm was sore.
